New York Hampton Surf announces schedule and venue for 2006/2007 season NEW YORK, NEW YORK—New York Hampton President Frank E. Cuzzi announced today that the Surf will play their home games at the Southampton Town Recreation Center www.sysinc.org. "We are very excited to bring AISL's brand of soccer to the New York Metropolitan Area" said Cuzzi, "With hard work and the great talent that exists in this area we expect to quickly become one of the most popular, as well as one of the best, teams in the league" The New York Hampton Surf will open their eight game American Indoor Soccer League (AISL) season at home on December 9 against the Mass. NY Hamptons ready to roll in the AISL   NEW YORK, NEW YORK- American Indoor Soccer League commissioner Paul LaPointe announced today that the league has granted an expansion franchise for New York metropolitan area, starting with the 2006-07 season. The new entity, the NY Hamptons, will be owned and operated by Cornerkick International www.cornerkick.com. Cornerkick President and founder Frank E. Cuzzi, a leader in the sports marketing business for over thirty years. Cuzzi was the driving force behind the corporate marketing efforts of both the North American Soccer League and the Major Indoor Soccer League. He was also involved with the corporate sponsorship of the FIFA World Cup 1994 official magazine. “Obviously, this is one of the biggest days in the history of the American Indoor Soccer League,” said LaPointe. “New York is a huge market with unlimited potential, and we as a league are thrilled to the ones bringing professional indoor soccer back to the ‘Big Apple' for the first time in almost twenty years.” “The reputation, contacts, and marketing know-how of a Frank Cuzzi can not be duplicated, and will be a huge boost to the AISL's image and drive to take it's place on the professional sports stage.” “We are very happy to be involved in a league that has the right ingredients for professional indoor soccer team owners.
